Alex has been conducting complex risk-focused research and forensic work for over a decade in Asia for the world’s leading financial institutions, law firms and multinational corporations. He has extensive experience in investigating and researching a broad range of risk events, including commercial fraud, dispute support, conflict of interest and integrity investigations, as well as pre-transaction due diligence. Prior to founding Integrus, Alex headed the investigations practice at an international risk advisory. Alex is fluent in Mandarin and written Chinese, speaks basic Thai, and has varying degrees of proficiency in several programming languages.

Sam is a third generation Mathematician-turned-Programmer. He has been programming since he was a child, and working as a Software Developer for over 15 years. He is most passionate about finding elegant solutions to complex problems, and the raw empowerment derived from converting imagined experiences into fully realized code. He has grown from a junior programmer to a team lead; managed everything from UX-centered redesigns to open-ended R&D; developed software for custom hardware platforms; built analytics environments; written tech patents; and learned more tech stacks than he cares to count.

Widely published on topics related to optimization, robotics, and artificial intelligence, Alex is a creative innovator on the forefront of applied sciences. Prior to joining Integrus, where he leads AI and machine learning innovation, Alex developed technology related to robotic motion planning, preference learning, and task allocation with broad applications to industries ranging from autonomous driving to aerospace. Alex is passionate about making connections between seemingly disparate fields to gain additional insights. After studying Mathematics at the undergraduate and Master's level (Concordia University and McGill University), Electrical Engineering at the Master's level (Concordia University) and Robotics at the doctoral level (the University of Waterloo), Alex has come to the conclusion that when it comes to math, there's always more worth knowing.

A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), David has managed risk research projects for funds, banks, and corporate clients and has worked on over 500 cases. Prior to Integrus, he was an associate director at a global risk firm in Hong Kong, where he worked for more than five years. Currently based in Hungary, he also previously worked in the United States, Kuwait, and Thailand. An experienced risk consultant and passionate programmer, David bridges the gap between risk advisory and tech by coding analytical solutions for research projects. David holds a master’s degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He knows English, French, Russian, and basic Hungarian, as well as several programming languages.

Stuart has significant experience in the conduct of sophisticated business intelligence and reputational due diligence assignments in Asia and globally; major fraud and FCPA investigations; in multi-jurisdiction asset searches; in provision of evidence for litigation support; and in crisis management. He has more than 35 years of experience in the investigations, business intelligence and risk mitigation industry in Asia and the former Soviet Bloc including 17 years as a diplomat in the British government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). After leaving the public sector, Stuart established a risk advisory division for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Japan. He was a founding member of International Risk Ltd, which was acquired by FTI Consulting. He has also held senior positions in FTI Consulting and Berkeley Research Group (BRG) in both Hong Kong and Japan. He was global head of the investigations practice of JS Held LLC. Stuart is an accomplished public speaker having had numerous presentations throughout the Asia region on a broad range of topics such as fraud and risk management. He has published widely on risk management, is regularly quoted by the media and has appeared many times on feature presentations on television.
